Good day to you all,
We are extremely impressed with summer so far... May has been the best so far since last years 75days rain spell!!!!!!June started excellently and today was wonderful ...being a Bank Holiday in Ireland today we had a long weekend with glorious weather.
We also spent sometime at a Car Boot sale ...very interesting and we were surprised at the amount of people taking part in it ..some f them real professionals travel from CAr boot sale to the next... we bought a lovely rose bowl , a wicker basket for the turf and 2 books.
The spinach is growing lovely and after weedind the wild carrots we have a good 10 bunches left I would say...4 beans and the peas are flourishing.
We went also to out favourit garden centre and left there with plenty!!! last year the tomatoes did not go well and we never even tasted one now they are planted in a grow bag en already flowering we hope things will be better.
The roses went funny and although we thought they will be great ...they have peepered ??? out to feeble little heads...very disappointed!!!
The country is lush and green...filled with colourful shrubs and trees..and everything grow here in the summer ...
The cottage is really getting on ..carpets were laid on Sat and we are waiting for the bedroom suite.... and then it is OUTSIDE!!!!
