Good day to all, family, friends and other!

I really do not have much to say as a period of calmness is present in Cranleymore.except.....


This last we have it all. &0 years and older toi toi-ing in the street in front of government building because the budget demanded cancellation of the medical card. In 2001 when the Celtig Tiger was well and thriving the medical card was given to all 70 and above irrespective of income...and now they took it away! How dare they do a thing like that!!!
The old people were rally offended and the PM had to postpone his trade mission to China in order to review the situation and to tell the old people that cards will stay but future requests will be means tested..that is still not good enough and they are still furious..not only are old people up in arms but the teachers were told dat they are cutting the allowance of teachers extentively and no substitute teachers will be available and all extra teaching for children with difficulties has been suspended next week they are marching on the Government then it will be the farmers and in between it was the students... in other words the support for the government has dropped with 7 points the lowest it has been in decades!!! Wow !!! exciting hey?

In the mean time the weather system has turned its back on us and has delivered us into the mouth of storming winds rain and cold. 8 degr C today ... The cat runs outside check everything out in record time a flies back into the house with vengence!..about the cat he watches TV unbelievable I wonder what he thinks it is?

It is bank holiday weekend here . A Monday holiday for no specific reason but that we have 9 such bank holidays a year including Easter Monday Christmas and New Year. Time turned back one hour at 2am this morning ..so we are now 2 hours behind SA... stupid business.and the body clock does not like it and the evening come in very early now..and it is dark at 6 pm.

Sunday as always my very best day turned out to be even better. The church had the afrikaners in and visitors from up north and we sang to the glory of God in full volume...it was wonderful!!!The message as always tremendous food for our souls!

I have no Birthdays on my calendar ..only thinking of those writing exams!! Read every question 2x!!!!!!!!!!!
